But… just sometimes, I think we need to LOOK BACK!
Just take this time to reflect on what it is you/we have achieved and relish these feelings of achievement for a brief moment or two.
Take time out as a team to go over what it is you are proud of and thank each other for the brilliant work you have achieved together.
People Plus is not new - as I have always said, it has been there from the beginning; we have just been asked to look at it differently. By doing so it has opened up many avenues to walk down and as a result different approaches and options have been tried and tested. Ok some may have failed, but let’s not dwell on that, we need to have a positive approach.
Yes let’s learn from past, but don’t let it stop you for one moment in helping someone to achieve what could of been the impossible to reach in the past.
We are involved in making it real for the people we support – supporting people to have a meaningful part in their community and the best taste of live we can possibly find.
Remember: No matter how small a change is, you were a huge part in making it happen and maintaining it is the hardest job of all.
As a manager I am going to take time out with the team and look at what changes for the good we have made and feel proud…
We will celebrate: We did that! We facilitated that happening!
